08-19-2002 - Camp Compass
completes its annual Paradise Outfitters’ Youth
Hunt. All seven of the youth who earned the right to travel
were successful. The group made up of 3 girls and four
boys all had one shot harvests and one cow elk was harvested.
Camp Compass was able to donate over1200 meals to the
Hunter’s Sharing the Harvest Program which distributes
food to local food banks. Overall it was a tremendous
opportunity to give back and provide our youngsters with
a great opportunity to travel. Costs were underwritten
by Paradise Outfitters and the Pennsylvania Taxidermy
Association has voulunteered to provide mounts for the
children. This is their fourth year providing services.
